Golden Shovel is a veteran South African hip-hop artist and poet from Sebokeng. He is known for his intricate lyricism, impactful delivery, and deep storytelling abilities. He was a key member of the rap group Optical Illusion, which was active in the early 2000s and contributed significantly to South Africa’s underground hip-hop scene.
